2008' UPDATE......WOW...

Wow! Has it been awhile. So....here we go!

GO CELTICS! For our anniversary, I surprised Derric with Celtics tickets....wait...GREAT tickets to see the Celtics (his most favorite team)! We had a great time and had a wonderful night out! Thanks Beth for watching the kids!

OUR TEENAGER......13 Years old now.....

Amber definitely keeps us on our toes. This was the day we made her a blonde! She's going into the 8th grade this August and is growing more mature each day. I think of her everyday and the struggles she has as a young teenage girl with all of its pressures, as well as the oldest child of the house!

OUR GYMNAST....is now on Level 3!

She competed in State and came in 6th in her division. Kristina will be going to Nationals at the end of June. she is with her Level 2 team that came in 13th in State. WAY TO GO GIRLS! We're so proud of Kristina and her discipline to stick with gymnastics.

OUR BABY.....is now 18 months

Mommy teaches me 'Belly." Daddy gives me popsicles for breakfast! We love DJ's age right now and he's so much fun. This past weekend he started telling me "NO." I didn't know what to do.. You can't BEAT them, but you can SHAKE them. Just kidding!

TOOOO LONG

Okay! So it has been "toooo long" since I've updated my blog. So here goes..
we start school back on Monday. Amber will be in 7th grade (yikes..a teenage girl), Kristina will be in the 2nd grade (here comes the "I'm imbarrassed of my mom stage"), and DJ is now 9 months!

My wonderful husband gave me the most wonderful gift I could ever ask for, becoming a full-time stay at home mom! We may miss out on having the most wonderful vacations or having the nicest things, but we won't miss out on the children. Now all I have to do is wake up and push him out the door to make the 'dinero'!

So far I have been home for 4 days, 7 hours and 33 minutes. I've managed to straighten up the office, rearrange my closet, clean out the refrigerator, and I'm going to start on staining the deck on Saturday :)

Amber is doing tumbling and is doing a FABULOUS job. Kristina is in gymnastics and is still working on perfecting her cartwheel. Both girls want to continue this, as well as participate in soccer & soft ball. YIKES......if you want to plan something with me, you best get into my calendar...... here's to my new life as a mini-driving soccer mom! In October we are going to see HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL on ice... I had to give them something since there was no way I was taking them to Justin Timberlake on his SEX tour! Hahahahha.

I went out with some friends last weekend and did not get home until 5 a.m.! Once I got home, I took my shower and started making breakfast for the family. D.J. woke up at 6:15 like normal, and my day did not stop until 9 p.m. that night. I'm 29 and too old to party like this.

I wish I had pictures to give you all but my computer shut down and I might have lost them. I will update as soon as I can again with LOTS of pictures.

To all of my 'ladies' you know who you are...I'm sorry it's been so long.

Okay, we finally have a picture of us I can post. This is Christmas mid-morning after the trash has all disappeared. Amber spent Christmas with Susan (Bio-mom) in Florida, and my family came up (Mom, sister, & neice-Renee). We had a great

time. Derric Jr's First Christmas was wonderful.....and he now hows alot of new toys and clothes. Hope everyone had a wonderful Holiday!
